Canadian-Nigerian rap heavyweight and introspective storyteller Dax returns with another deeply emotional and soul-stirring single titled “Trauma.”

The track merges atmospheric piano chords and moody acoustic guitar strums with steady, hard-hitting Hip-Hop drums and a deep, pulsing bassline, establishing a reflective, head-nodding soundscape right from the opening drop.

Dax delivers a raw, highly emotional vocal performance, diving headfirst into the lingering effects of unhealed scars, heartbreak, and psychological wounds. Balancing his trademark rapid-fire poetic verses with a haunting, anthemic hook, he explores how past pain shapes future relationships, delivering a deeply relatable anthem for anyone fighting invisible battles.

“Trauma” stands out as a powerful and thought-provoking rap release, further solidifying Dax‘s reputation as one of the most honest and impactful lyricists in modern Hip-Hop.
